This mod removes the durability degradation while a trap is being used and changes the traps so that they are only able to be damaged by melee damage. It also doubles the cost of the traps!

This mod removes the durability degradation while a trap is being used and changes the traps so that they are only able to be damaged by melee damage. It also doubles the cost of the traps! This makes the traps far more useful for new players, players doing later horde nights, or those who do not like rebuilding their bases after each horde night.

Normally as a trap is used, such as an electric fence shocking a zombie, the trap loses durability, eventually breaking. This mod removes that degradation. The only way your traps will break now is if a zombie or enemy player melees the trap until it breaks. Barbed wire traps no longer break just because an entity walked across it. Electric fences can shock your enemies all day long without a hitch! Oh, and blade traps no longer break while doing their jobs either!

This mod does not add any custom assets and only modifies stock configuration values, so only the host or server needs it, and it won't break your save if you add or remove it at any time. It affects traps that have already been placed and new ones as well.
