About this mod

Adds a few different states for Kerry to be in when you visit him. Adds options to listen to him play guitar. Adds the option to hug him, if you are in a relationship.
Updated for patch 1.6 and REDmod version available

Basics:
Like all the other romance options in Cyberpunk, Kerry doesn't feel very 'alive' if you go to visit him. This mod gives him a schedule. The option to hug him if you are in a relationship. Andthe options to request him play certain songs for you on guitar!

The schedule works for all players.
The hugs are just for those in a relationship.
The guitar renditions are for everyone that's either in a relationship or at least still friends with him.

Kerry now:
  • Drinks near his bar
  • Eats in front of his car
  • Showers (if you are in a relationship)
  • Smokes in his bathroom (only after showering)
  • Plays guitar (either in his bedroom or at the sofa)
  • Lounges on the sofa (like his base game behavior)
  • Sleeps in his bed at night (without having to wait for the player to use the bed)
V can chat with him at any of the activities (except sleeping or showering) .
V can hug him at any activities where he is not holding a guitar (only if in a relationship)
V can request a number of songs when he is holding his guitar:
  • The song from Boat Drinks if he is lounging, 4 different songs otherwise
Minor basegame bug fix: Kerry's holocall Greeting/Farewell now plays properly

Installation?
Unzip the main zip into"Cyberpunk 2077" folder so that the .archive ends up in the "Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod" folder
Optional: Unzip the _LOC.zip file directly into the "Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod" folder

REDmod?
Unzip in REDmod zip the "Cyberpunk 2077" folder so that the KerryInteractionsEnhanced folder ends up in the "Cyberpunk 2077\mods" folder
Optional: Unzip the _LOC_REDmod.zip file directly into the "Cyberpunk 2077\mods" folder
I would advise against having both versions installed, but one should simply overrule the other without much fuss

Uninstall?
Simply delete the KerryInteractionsEnhanced.archive (and optionally the matching LOC file) file from the "Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod" folder.
AND / OR
Simply delete/disable the KerryInteractionsEnhanced and KerryInteractionsEnhanced_LOC folders from the "Cyberpunk 2077\mods" folder.

How to "use" the mod?
After completing Kerry's questline (Boat Drinks) return to Kerry's mansion at different times he will be doing different activities.

Warning/disclaimer
I do NOT know exactly how the game will react if you saved inside the mansion before installing this mod.
I recommend saving somewhere else first if you have to.
Contains nudity as he uses the shower...

Languages
The optional _LOC file supports all (non EN/US) languages' (8) new option lines BUT, I am worried that the translations maybe off in some languages, please let me know which are wrong, and how, so I can update and correct

What times does Kerry do the various things?
00:00 - 02:00 - Guitar - sofa
02:00 - 04:00 - Lounging - sofa
04:00 - 08:00 - Sleeping
08:00 - 10:00 - Shower (sleeping still if not in relationship)
10:00 - 12:00 - Eating (car window)
12:00 - 14:00 - Guitar - bedroom
14:00 - 16:00 - Drinks - bar
16:00 - 18:00 - Lounging - sofa
18:00 - 20:00 - Guitar - sofa
20:00 - 22:00 - Eating (car window)
22:00 - 00:00 - Drinks - bar

What about the Judy Romanced Enhanced mod?
This mod is fully compatible with Judy Romanced Enhanced and doesn't have any edited files in common

What if I want/need to talk to Kerry and he's alseep?
In a relationship? Simply use the bed too, when you wake up he will be in the shower, from there he can be triggered to leave the shower and stand nearby to smoke.
This only counts if he was sleeping on your arrival, not if he's sleeping because you used the bed first
Just friends? Leave the mansion, skip time, return when he shouldn't be asleep

Does Kerry ever stop playing this Boat Drinks song?
It's nearly 6mins long AND looping (now you can get that 1h Kerry Boat Song experience in game!)
To interupt it simply leave the living area (be +15m away from Kerry) and then he'll stop.

Will Kerry ever get out of the shower?
Kerry will leave the shower if the following is true:
  • You have approached him showering OR 5 real minutes have passed
  • AND
  • You are not standing within 5m of him and not looking at him

Compatibility risks:
Low - none; I've had to edit Kerry's app file to erm... reattach his penis... so mods that alter Kerry's appearance will either override this change, or be overridden by it.

The mod edits the following files:
  • base\localization\...\subtitles\quest\kerry\kerry_default.json [All languages]
  • dlc\dlc6_apart\entities\shower_kerry.ent [Fixes VFX for Kerry in the shower]
  • dlc\dlc6_apart\scenes\dlc6_apart_kerry_villa_interactions.scene

Issues/limitations:
"Boring/bad" animations when he's sat holding the guitar:
  • So there's really not a lot of animation options here without him actually playing the guitar completely. He also just kind of keeps his head down the whole time... If I can source some better/usable ones later they will go in an update.
Post shower smoking:
  • His dialogue options can kind of block the door at times, just move far enough away for the options to dissappear and then the door should have no problems.
Missing props:
  • Some tiny props are known to go missing, like guitar picks and his lighter. I will try and get these to show up properly in a later update
Scene resetting/updating:
  • This is distance/volume based and I don't have much control over it. To update his activity simply:
  1. Leave the mansion by the front door, stand on the grass and then (change the time if need be) and then return to Kerry.
  2. OR
  3. Run to the far end of the mansion (change the time if need be) and then back.

If anyone finds any bugs beyond what's listed in in Issues/Limitations, please let me know!
I know the localisation might be wonky in some languages, so feedback on them would be fantastic!
