Description
----------------------

I've found a mod called Flimsy Weapons which drastically changes the durability of weapon. That mod was intended to be played by a monk class and was not usable for other game styles. Then I thought that in vanilla game weapon and armor are really durable and I had not even remembered the last time I used repairs or suddenly lost my weapon or armor in a battle. Thus, I came up with this mod.

Details
----------------------

Where Flimsy Weapon makes, for example, Iron Longsword to break after 3-5 hits, my mod makes it usable for 3-5 fights or 85-100 hits. It's still enough for the weapon to break in a harsh battle although it could still be used in several fights, not only one.

The same is for armor (e.g. steel armor), - it can break much faster, but after one fight it will be at least at 60-70 health points. Thanks to that, now it makes sense to search for a more sturdy armor because leather and fur don't last long. Though it is also true for your opponents.

Thus, you will be forced to use repairs or to go to armorers. With my mod, this part of the game becomes much more important and more sensitive than before.

No scripts, just two changed game records.

Compatibility
----------------------

I haven't touched anything except two lines in the game settings so this mod is highly compatible with almost everything. My mod is mergeable.

Recommended mods
----------------------

Maskar's Unarmored Skill - for a monk style gameplay.
Unequip Broken Armor - will help to display the moment when the armor on the enemy (and on you) breaks.
Attribute-based and skill-based damage modifiers - for high weapon's damage. Fights are deadlier and faster. (Change line calculateFromVanilla to 0 in INI).
Character-Based Attack Speed - honest and robust way to make action more rpg-like.
MigMiscellanea - for a random durability feature. The changes made by my mod are more visible.
NPC and Creature Buffer - npc has the same possibilities (spells, birthsigns, etc.) as the player. Mod makes fight's experience unique, interesting and sometimes unpredictable.
