Crystal Soul Gems
Description:
I couldn't find a Morrowind Soul Gem replacer I like, so I was thinking of making a port of the original Soul Gems from "The Elder Scrolls III" but I remembered that I'm using Crystal Soul Gems replacer by SVNR for that game already. So I decided to make a port of that mod instead as it's much higher quality and I like it a lot. After I made my port, I thought, maybe someone else would like to use this port. And here it is. Sadly it's not as good as the original because of different game and visual engines and my lack of knowledge, but I'm satisfied with the results I got.
Currently 4 versions are available:
"Morrowind style Soul Gems 1.0 by SVNR"
A simple mesh replacer without any additional effects.
"Morrowind style Soul Gems 1.0 by SVNR - ENB Glow"
A mesh replacer with glow effect for ENB users.
"Morrowind style Soul Gems 1.0 by SVNR - Filled Glow"
A plugin (marked as ESL) version, replaces non-filled soul gems with simple meshes and filled soul gems with glow effect for ENB users.
"Morrowind style Soul Gems 1.0 by SVNR - Filled Glow BS"
Same as Filled Glow for Better Sorting.
Glow effect varies from ENB preset you're using. Might make some alterations if required.
Installation:
Extract "Data" folder to your game directory.
Filled Glow version, enable "Morrowind style Soul Gems by SVNR.esp"
Uninstallation:
Delete "soulgem" folder from "Meshes\Clutter" folder.
Delete "soulgem" folder from "Textures\Clutter" folder.
Filled Glow version, Disable and Delete "Morrowind style Soul Gems by SVNR.esp".
Incompatibilities:
Any mod which alters filled soul gems, including better sorting mods. If you wish for a fix, contact me, say for which mod you want it.
Warning:
It is safe to remove simple mesh replacers in mid-game, while plugin versions are not.
Always make a backup save before adding any new mod!
